29 and nowhere

April is going to be a very tough month. Pissing all these months away in Mexico City with nothing to show for it. The next money I get I am going to have to decide whether Im going to stay in Mexico City and try to make it, or go back to the United States and try to make it. It is looking like Mexico City for various reasons.

Why Obama will Fail

Everyone is on the Obama train. I mean everyone, I’m one of the very few that are not. I was looking at the BET Awards, just flipping through. Getting a little bit of consciousness of what is happening in that world. Russell Simmons got the equivalent of a Lifetime Achievement Award, the man has his critics and I understand their position. Mr. Simmons had on a jeweled T-shirt of (drum roll) Barack Obama. This is NOT going to go right. Since when did really rich people care about who the politician is? Everyone is building their secret agendas around Obama, and Obama has an agenda of his own, to become president.
Back to my first point, something is seriously wrong, seriously seriously wrong, when millionaires care who the politician is? You want me to believe they really did bad under Bush? Do you really want me to believe that? Chris Rock during his comedy special “Kill the Messenger” said Obama’s name at least 75 times in 90 minutes. What does he care? He is already successful, or is he? Oprah Winfrey, forget about it, she’s got close to a billion dollars, getting ready to get her own channel and has media rights up the wazoo, all this has taken place under Bush, what does she care? Kanye West, you call us “The Urine and the Shit”. You worked yourself to death to become famous to the point where you fell asleep while driving, now you have made it. Do you really want me to believe that Obama can do something for you personally. Are you really vested in this? Why? Obama can’t rap, he can’t produce. Kanye said that Obama’s Democratic Nomination Speech “changed his life”. I kid you not, he said that boring long speech full of words, “changed his life”. Nigga, your mom just died!
Big Boi of Outkast, Mary J. Blige, Ludacris all you guys are rich and successful beyond your wildest dreams. Bush didn’t do anything to hurt you all. What can Obama do for you? All of these aforementioned people and MORE, I have 25 cents to my name, but don’t give me that crap. Do you really expect me to believe that you are for Obama, giving him free promotion worth millions, because when you travel internationally you get a hard time about Bush?
It can’t go right. John Legend, “Allll Along Myyyyyyyyyyyy Pilgrim’s Journeeeeey”. I know you are entrenched in the blasphemous position of worshipping Obama, why? Do you know how many musicians and artists wish they had what you have, what you got under Bush, what can Obama do for you? Lil’ Wayne, you have a very bad drug addiction and don’t think you don’t promote it when you carry around those triple stacked Styrofoam cups like a cane. You went platinum in the first week, in a recession, in the age of illegally downloaded music, UNDER BUSH, why are you telling people to vote?
Less than five percent of the people using the media to “get out the vote” could possibly be against Obama. That brings us to this Michael Jackson like status of, Everybody loves Obama. That is going to fail big time. He is a politician, he is not an economist. He has not outlined any plans to help any particular group of people, (Hint: Look at who supports him the most).
I am going with just logic here, I withhold the anthropology and the archeology only for my Indiana Jones like counterparts. Obama is going to be a huge disappointment.
I wanted to say it the very first day. I wanted to. The day McCain picked Palin was a sick joke that confirmed that the ruling powers want Obama to win. Republicans want Obama to win! While I am busy making controversial arguments let me just throw in that the Iraq War is an instrument to hide Inflation, I will get into that another time.
Republicans want Obama to win. Because Obama is going to respect the ruling class, I mean dang even Clinton couldn’t get half his agenda done in eight years. Obama is going to respect the ruling class no matter the disproportionate distribution of wealth, after all, he is “genetically” African. In Africa you have the very rich and you have the dirt poor. Obama sucked up and inhaled his roots and culture in Kenya. If the inequality in Africa affected him so, why is he not trying to be an African leader? It’s in his blood to bring that shit here. Republicans want Obama to win, exhibit A or B, it doesn’t even matter to me, Palin. America is not special needs children, but that’s the slot we would have to fit in for everything to work out under her. McCain is like the last man exiting an eight year long bank robbery, he could stay a little longer if he wanted to, it would be nice, but they have gotten more than enough.
Before I go further I am not sure Bush is even going to step down, it depends on how he perceives Obama as President Elect, go read Marc Anthony if you want to. During Bush, the rich got that bread, they got it stashed away, they fully looted the purse. Screw the dollar and maybe even the Euro, and forget about the stocks, they got their money fully protected and stashed in the hard shit. Minerals, metals, diamonds, real estate. Can’t you see that we are left holding the bag? What is Obama going to do, save us from having to hold the bag, save us from being framed, right the wrong?
Even if Obama thought in his eye blink that he just might do that, you don’t know the “Founding Fathers”, you don’t know the men on the money, you don’t know these guys, They are all giving Obama such a big big mess. The mess is so big that according to the laws of gravity its timed to get even messier three years into the new term.
It’s not that the rich in America don’t care about anybody, they got a prioritized list. They are going to make sure that Obama is going to look out for the people that they care about the Most and it’s not the people that are truly giving Obama this Michael Jackson, this blasphemous Hailie Selasi status. What Russel Simmons and all these people don’t understand. “All these people”, you are ranting, be specific, what these rich niggers don’t understand is that Obama has already sniffed up Africa and he is going to bring it to America, specifically how far as inequality and distribution of wealth is concerned.
It’s normal to him, for all he knows, that is what the bars outside the White House is for.

These rich black people actually think that Obama is going to use Other People’s Money to champion the cause of the poor and relieve some stress from them, themselves, having to do it with their own money. You rich celebrities, you rich black businessmen, you are going to get to keep your gated communities, it’s going to be a requirement, and your gated community is going to be segregated. Chris Rock, that neighbor dentist of yours who lives next to your mansion cleaning Joe the Plumber’s teeth while you travel the world pitching your soul and the cultural gems of black people in America. That dentist, your neighbor, and all you rich niggers non-black neighbors are going to have to distance themselves from you, because the line of black people banging on your door for help is going to be so long, during Obama, that you are going to get ran out of that nice community. This goes for Diddy, Oprah, Big Boi, Mary J. Blige, Russell Simmons, Ludacris, and all these rich black people who are pushing pushing this nameless, policy less narcissistic , rheotorical, strategist and manipulator named Barack Obama, He is going to fail them all big time.
Barack Obama said he would need to "meet with Colin Powell" and that he would have to "think about giving colin powell a formal position". Who the fuck does Obama think he is compared to the black man in America? See, his "Father's Day" speech. The Israelite School of UPK has already brought out that Obama supports ending Affirmative Action, any idiot with a timeline and a map knows he, himself, directly benefited from this and it wasn't even meant for him. Clarence Thomas was the one Chief Justice that Obama singled out as not being qualified and Clarence doesn't say a word on the court.
Obama is for men going to jail over child support. Which to make a long story short is, if you are separated from your child's mother, your only option at work is to do what the boss says or go to jail, no time for EEOC layoffs and hearings.
If these successful black people, if they have money period, if they were spending 10% of their money to help other black people, it’s going to rise to 60%, or they're going to go broke, or both subsequently. The Israelite School of UPK hipped me to something, Normal rich people don’t give a fuck about politics. These black people’s greed and selfishness is being channeled into raising up Obama, but they are going to be taken in their own devices.

The Point of Tipping

"Let me tell you about the very rich. They are different from you and me."
F. Scott Fitzgerald
I am visiting my hometown for a couple weeks, and let me tell ya. I am getting it like a millennial and I have tried my hardest to distance myself from my peers but there are some sticking points. I went to the supermarket with my grandmother. I don’t know if you can call this supermarket a small business, let’s call it a mom and pop. I was with my grandmother getting ready to spend my food stamps that I got from the big city. As we were shopping through the very small store, I saw some folded up pieces on green paper right there on the floor.
There’s nothing like finding cash, it’s like finding gold. It’s like “Did that girl really take all her clothes off in front of me just now?” In these kind of situations I know exactly what to do, I had found $20 a couple months earlier. I calmly pulled my shopping card to the spot and stepped on the green fold and bent down and picked it up. These situations are never sticky, what am I supposed to do, pick it up and scream, “Who dropped $25 right here on the floor?” So anyway just like that I went from broke to not broke.
So that day or the next, I went to a bar to watch Champions League Soccer, I had planned to get a beer because I love to watch soccer and drink beer. I also ordered a little food. My bill was $7.85. It was time to tip the waitress, I was kind of hesitant because of the economy and all. At the same time I didn’t want to earn or perpetrate a bad reputation. I kept wondering if $1 is 15% or more of $7.85, it’s actually $1.18. I started wondering how the waitress would feel about getting a buck from me. The media always hits us with that “Wow, one whole dollar”. In today’s economy there is no time for sarcasm. It was lunch hour and it was slow, so I figured a dollar is better than nothing. I don’t know how the rich do it in good times, and I don’t know how the rich do it in bad times.
The rich always have it, money that is. The poor have it rarely, or almost never. The economy is said to be in the crapper or headed to the crapper oh well. I can’t change some waitress’ life with my tip, only the rich can do that and they’ve done it before, Wall Street, Old people in diners, and even Kevin Federline, all go a little crazy with the tipping.

First things first, and maybe the 2nd and 3rd

A job is a source of income. The problem is double speak. In America we don’t even know the language even if we speak English. A job has nothing to do with work. People might ask about your career of what you do for a living as if they are interested in the process, the aesthetics, but their primary objective is always the numbers.
Growing up we’d always hear, get a good job. If you were like me, you’d think that meant “Get interesting work” or “Do something that makes a difference.” Close, but wrong. No one cares what you do. Not no one “really cares”. No one cares period, what you do, at least not until after they have ascertained how much you make. That’s why no one really frowns on weapons dealers and drug dealers until they get caught. They have “good jobs”. Some jobs out there answer both questions at once. Maybe that’s what they mean, get a job that answers both questions at once, satisfactorily, is what you do interesting, and is how much you make a lot? Take a line from the CEOs, make a lot of money so you can run, before you have to explain what exactly it is that you do.
There’s a lot of catch 22s with that one. If you got the good salary you have to forget what you actually do for it, especially if the answer is “nothing”, more than half the time. That’s right folks downtime is major in a lot of American Jobs. It causes you to question if they really even need you, or your education for that matter. If you have any pride or a slight grasp of economics you might even ask yourself at work, “Why am I even here?”
I mean really if you are satisfied with your pay and benefits (haha) but your workplace mantra is “Look Busy” your job is subprime, dude. Best believe you are going to be laid off, eventually, (looks at today’s headline) SOON. You were replaceable (looks at today’s headline) before you even walked in the door.
No matter how much money you make your termination is going to be long overdue and right. There’ll be nothing left to do but go out there and find the next sucker to convince that you are “qualified”, that you “have experience”, that you “bring value” to the organization. Looking at Wall Street, trillion of dollars of value was never brought in, but is going to have to be paid for by taxpayers.
So it’s not really about entitlement and the whole “Don’t bullshit us like you did our parents” is only partially correct. The bull is, in fact, so deep. It’s beyond Wall Street. It’s beyond Standard of living. Downtime is going to be the word of 2008 because it’s the bubbles of this in workplaces that is the cause of the economic downturn, it’s a mitigating factor.
The all important factors of interconnecting. Corporations along with the economy are interconnected, huge duh, right? Not with their productive workforce and the value that they weave, they are interconnected in fueling misconceptions. An example of this is mass media.
For example, the media constantly drums “Must have a degree to have a good life” (I fell for it too). That statement is not true because the degree is not the “be all, end all”.
Media messages, not results, is what makes the any organization look respectable and makes the bottom line happen. Collegiate enrollment, for example, is spurred by mass media. Mass media brings on employees to make ready, which leads to more employment opportunities once customers flock in and gaps are identified and the next thing you know, 60% of all the employees “looking busy” and not actually working. Or 100% of the employees are looking busy 60% of the time. It has all been stacking up like a house of cards, which brings us this recession.
Next I am going to blog about the contradictions of a good job, then about the excitement of a recession, and then about Obama.

Two in a Day, can I keep this up

In the internet and web development community there are a lot of talented people that are sitting on their skills. I know quite a few people with the technical know-how but are not using it to get anywhere.
I remember back when I was in high school and Tiger Woods was winning all his tournaments, he was not teaching us how to become a champion golfer but he was schooling us on how to become a success. "Gave myself chances", that's what Tiger said every Sunday when he pulled the win out of the bag. What Tiger Woods meant is he never gave up, he never gave ground. He found opportunities when it seemed like there were not any and he consistently moved forward while the competition folded. Tiger put his head to the grindstone and by the time he looked up, the trophy was in his hand.
The same thing applies to the internet web, development, and the technical of the most technicalist. Giving yourself chances has a twofold meaning, it is a two way street not a one way street. In the area of web development currently I don't know jack squat. I dont know how to get a domain name, how to find a host, I dont know html, or none of this stuff. I dont even have my own computer.
Like Tiger Woods I am going to ignore the competition that is ahead of me and that have more than what I have. I am going to focus on what I do have going for me, that is giving myself a chance.
My mom brought home some kind of computer that hooked up to the tv back when Bill Gates was unknown. She had someone programming our computer in MSDOS and I knew how to pull some programs like an illustrator or wordperfect. I have been following the start-up scene to the best of my ability. I like to think that I know how to read. These are all the chances that I am supposed to be giving myself. You got to ignore what you don't have and focus on what you do have. 60 minutes ran a segment yesterday about Job Bon Jovi or what his name is. They say he has inner workings that are very impressive, he's got an unusual deal with his band, a foothold in the declining music industry, and he calls himself a philanthropist. He closed the segment out with some interesting words that I am still thinking about. He said, "Most people are shoulda, woulda, coulda, but me, I say let's go!"
Interesting indeed, I have dwelt long enough on "I shoulda majored in this." I shoulda did that, I coulda did that. Take a look back, a few years has passed, its time for me to say let's go.
I might not know all the computer stuff and the programming languages, but I do know that I can envision and map this site out on paper. Im going to start with the HTML and then add stuff in that order. First things first.

Can I do it again?

"It's complicated" don't we say that alot? Well that goes for everything I've had to explain. Not everything but pretty much everything. My goal was to delete the embarrassing stuff on this blog but keep the name. That is what I think I have succeeded to do. The purpose of my blog is to get my own website, get a job, get the chick, and basically not lose my mind this summer.
The style of how Im going to make my website happen is kind of like Kevin Mitnick did it. He was on 60 minutes talking about how he was hacking using the computer at Radio Shack. That is very impressive and I need to read the story again. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/10/20/60II/main650428.shtml
I don't know about you but the computers at Radio Shack were always stuck in demo mode. Another style of how I want to start my website is like Mission Impossible Part 1. Remember when he needed to use that computer at the high security place and he succeeded by having the guy have to go to the bathroom many times. That scene made an impression on me. Now getting to the point... Welcome to Washington D.C., my home of the last eight years. On Thursday I made it inside of another branch of the public library. Say what you want about D.C., the inequality, the crime, the poverty, and what it is. One thing is for sure D.C.'s libraries, in the good parts of town, have a lot of resources. Man, I would have liked to see what they have in Georgetown before it burnt down. Anyway, I visited the library and they have a shitload of computer books. This blog is going to document me using these resources, without checking them out. I have internet access at a university. I did a lot of work on the guest computer, more than most students do here and no one bothered me. So a combination of this access, the library hours, three books that I have at home, no debit card, no job. Let's see what I can accomplish.
Get started now right? Not so fast, I have a meeting I have to do at, I might come back. More details, you ask, it's complicated.
